Trearddur Bay Low tide
A view out of the bay at low tide. It been a while since I have picked the camera up, but a nice place to start.
Trawler Resting
Here we can see the back of an old trawler and how the grasses and bushes are beginning to take over and creep onto the deck. Sadly as I have mentioned on a previous photo this will not be here to long with the weather and tides pulling debris out into the channel and out to Liverpool Bay
Restoration in progress onboard the Sarinda
Great to see that this motorboat being restored. Excellent youtube channel - www.youtube.com/watch?v=MczJ6iYEZNo. Worth watching and catching up on the jobs they need to tackle to put this is old timer back on the water.
Pile them high
A mish mash of a group of yachts and motorboats berthed on the shoreline at Heswall Boatyard. Again the question is what will become of these. The weather will wear them down and turn them into match wood and the tide will wash them away. A real shame, that at one point they were an owners pride and joy.
The other side in need of restoration
Sadly another fallen old-timer being overrun by the coastline and grasses at Heswall Shore. A beautiful hull and what I could imagine to be a possible fishing boat or small leisure boat.
Tender left on the shoreline
I think this can be saved, but for the moment it is a bird bath for the locals to freshen up.
Old timer in need of being rescued
Sad to see this old boat being left to the weather and being left to rot away. It will be question of time before she is washed away with the tide and broken up.
Sunset on the shoreline looking over to Wales
A cold but bright sunset down at Heswall Boat yard. These luckily are yachts that work and will feel the waves on their hulls.
Boat beached on Heswall
This lovely old timer has steadily been weathered and battered by the coastline down on the shore. A real shame as it would have been a great looking boat and by the shape of the hull a safe boat to sail across the waves.
Heswall Boatyard Slip way
Here is the slipway, that needs to be cleared everyday of the silt by the boatyard tractor. If this didnt happed their would be not access for boats to launch or hauled out the channel
